About Us

Hello! This is the Awfully Big Blog Reviews Archive, containing a decade of past ABR reviews. From January 2021, Book Reviews will be posts on the main ABBA blog.

All the reviews in this archive were written by members of the Scattered Authors Society , sharing thoughts and enthusiasms about books and reading and based on their long experience of working with children and visiting schools and libraries.

You'll still be able to search for past reviews of childrens books for all ages - picture books, chapter books, MG, teen and YA fiction and non-fiction - and, occasionally, reviews of adult books, books on writing & the creative process and poetry books.

Many thanks to all the reviewers for contributing to ABR in the past, and to those who'll still be posting and reviewing over ABBA from now on.
